Phil Breeden is a nationally respected insurance consumer advocate and the founder of TriStar Claim Partners. With more than three decades of experience standing up for policyholders, Phil has built his career around one simple belief: insurance companies have entire teams working for them—policyholders deserve the same.

Born in Oklahoma City and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Phil was shaped early by hard work and discipline. He attended Pine Bluff High School before moving to Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he studied Animal Science at the University of Arkansas. After college, Phil moved with his young family to Orange County, California, where he entered the public insurance adjusting field and was formally trained in consumer protection and claims advocacy.

In 1989, Phil returned to Tennessee and made history by becoming the first licensed public insurance adjuster in the state. From that point forward, his calling was clear: to protect homeowners and business owners during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Over the years, Phil has earned a reputation for integrity, tenacity, and unwavering commitment to fairness. Today, through TriStar Claim Partners, Phil continues to advocate for clients with clarity, experience, and resolve, ensuring they are treated fairly and receive the full benefits promised under their policies.

Ron Osteen is a Nashville native and senior advisor at TriStar, bringing more than two decades of combined insurance-industry and construction experience to the firm. He has spent his career working directly with property owners, executives, and decision-makers — helping them navigate complex situations and move confidently toward solutions that make sense for their goals.

Ron's strength is his ability to connect quickly and genuinely. He listens first, asks the right questions, and brings clarity to conversations that can otherwise feel overwhelming. Clients appreciate his calm, straightforward approach and his focus on outcomes — not pressure.

Alongside his carrier-side experience, Ron is a Tennessee-licensed contractor and real estate professional. He has personally built and sold both residential and commercial properties, giving him a working knowledge of property valuation, construction methods, scope development, and project execution. That field experience translates directly to evaluating damage, communicating effectively with contractors and property owners, and understanding the structural and financial realities behind every claim.

Throughout his career Ron has led national and regional growth initiatives across construction, real estate, SaaS, media, and professional services, earning President's Club honors and national ranking distinctions along the way. At TriStar, he works alongside clients from first conversation through commitment, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and comfortable at every step. His focus is simple: build trust and help clients reach the right decision for their situation.
